Tupper Arts Receives $25k Community Grant from Stewart's
June, 2022: Tupper Arts is pleased to announce that they are the recipients of a $25,000 Community Grant from Stewart’s, for which they ceremoniously received a check this past Friday, May 27. The grant will be going towards Tupper Arts’ ongoing Capital Campaign, during which they’ve already raised enough money to purchase the building at 106 Park Street and start making necessary renovations.
Stewart’s Community Grant is dedicated to supporting organizations that are actively working to supply beneficial experiences for their community. “The arts are a vital part of our communities and this donation to the Arts Center building is an important part of our commitment to the arts,” according to Susan Dake, President of the Stewart's Shops Foundation.
“Because of Stewart’s generosity, Tupper Arts will be able to complete the facade renovation at our art center building and make improvements on gallery lighting, ceiling work, and replacement of rear exit doors,” says Tupper Arts board president Susan Delehanty. “All of us at Tupper Arts are thankful for this great support from Stewart’s and are looking forward to the completion of the project by this summer.”
Support Tupper Arts' 2021-2023 Capital Campaign
Tupper Arts invites you to be part of its major capital campaign for 2021-2023. The goal is to raise $450,000 to finance the purchase and renovation of the Tupper Arts Center (TAC) at 106 Park St. in Tupper Lake, NY. The purchase of the Arts Center will provide a permanent home for Tupper Arts in a prime commercial district, and planned renovations to the façade and infrastructure will create an attractive upgrade to the Park St. business community. The environmental quality and safety of the building will also be improved by updated air purification and ventilation. Structural upgrades, including electrical work, roofing, interior lighting, and foundation work, will also maximize the efficiency and utilization of this 10,000-square-foot building, which has been part of the Tupper Lake economy for almost a century. With your help and generosity, we know we can achieve this goal. This is an opportunity to play a part in the future of Tupper Arts and the Tupper Lake community. On behalf of the Tupper Arts Board of Directors, we hope you will join us in kicking off this campaign with your donation. Thank you.

Board President/Chair
