Roadside Falls of Northern New York: Volume 2, The Adirondacks
David J. Schryver
"When we released Roadside Falls of Northern New York Volume 1, the Tri-Counties, we planned on following that up with books dedicated to other parts of the north country. This is Volume 2, which focuses on waterfalls in the north-eastern corner of the portion of New York State north of the Mohwak River/I-90 corridor.
Often when we think of Adirondack waterfalls, we envision remote locations requiring long hikes. For whatever reason, many people aren't able to make these hikes. This book will guide you through 50 waterfall locations, all within 1/2 mile of a highway and many with roadside views.
These may not be the most popular falls in the area nor will they be the tallest. They are simply some pretty locations that are easy to get to. As with volume 1, this is set up as a "tour" of these falls. This time, we start in Franklin County and travel through Clinton, Essex, Warren and Hamilton Counties, presenting you with some very pretty and easily accessible waterfalls."
