Who we are ...
Tupper Lake has a century-old identity as a vibrant, self-sustaining artistic community. Tupper Arts endeavors to revitalize this tradition for new generations through activities that include outreach to K-12 students and programming for teens, adults, and seniors. Just like the abundant beauty of our Adirondack environment, the rich artistic creativity of Tupper Lake deserves nurturing and caretaking for years to come.
The mission of Tupper Arts is to promote the efforts and achievements of artists and artisans of all ages in Tupper Lake and the surrounding Adirondack Park, including painters, potters, dancers, woodworkers, musicians, actors, composers and playwrights, storytellers, and graphic-design artists. By supporting and encouraging local artists, Tupper Arts hopes to help enrich the cultural life of the entire community as we present art exhibits, classes, workshops, book readings, concerts, theater, and other events.
The new Tupper Arts Center (TAC), located at 106 Park Street next to the Adirondack State Theater, is already a focal point for these exciting activities. For more information, please contact us at 518-359-5042 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
