The Adirondack Stage Rats announce: “Our summer respite is over and we're kicking off Halloween Week with staged readings of the psychological thriller MISERY by William Goldman, adapted from the classic suspense-riddled novel by Stephen King!”

You'll thrill to Tyler Nye as romance novelist Paul Sheldon awaking post car-crash to find himself the captive of his demented and devoted "number one fan" Annie Wilkes creepily played by Leslie Dame. Will local law man Buster (Christopher H. Leifheit) rescue Paul? Will Annie become Paul's new muse? Will Paul escape and ride Annie's pet pig, Misery, to freedom? Will we have a rollicking time thanks to director Jordan Hornstein? YES!! So join us at Tupper Arts on Sat., October 24 at 4 p.m. and find out!
