From The Artist
Serenity Now!!! Almost every comment or compliment I get about my oil paintings are how peaceful, serene and calming they are. I love when the viewer connects to the works emotionally. Plein air painting is my "Happy Place" and I am grateful that doing what I love, it is truly a blessing! Racing out at twilight to capture the sunrise is my most favorite time to paint, for me it is all about the light. I consider a painting successful when it evokes or captures a certain mood or feeling that the viewing audience gets caught up or lost in. My goal is to inspire the viewer to look more carefully at the world they live in, sharing with them the peace, beauty and reverence that I experience.
